Class Description |
||||||
Beginner:Required for all new Seattle BJJ students. A class that explores basic concepts and works to develop fundamental jiu-jitsu skills. |

All Levels:Open to all students after completion of beginner class and approval of instructor. This is our comprehensive jiu-jitsu class that covers submissions, sweeps, pins, locks. |

Advanced:Open to white belts with 3 stripes and above. This class is a medium to high level workout of advanced drills and training for students with a good grasp on the basic concepts. Focuses more on development of endurance and specific sparring situations |

Sunday Workout:Open to all students. A long brisk warm up with plenty of calisthenics, stretching, and then Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu drills influenced by yoga, muy thai, monkey kung fu, pilates, wrestling, & judo. Class followed by one hour open mat. |

Sparring/Open Mat:Classes for student directed training and free sparring. |

At Gracie Barra Seattle, the practice of Jiu-Jitsu is seen as a path of personal development, and our Kid’s Jiu-Jitsu class emphasizes the development of confidence, self-discipline, perseverance, and physical health, all while learning a functional self-defense system in a fun environment.
